Eight Complete, Onto Nine

It's hard to believe that Ezra just turned 9 months old.  Crazy how fast we got here. It seems that there were a lot of accomplishments in his eighth month. Here's our list of accomplishments, likes and such.

-the "Ezra Crawl" (he's not a traditional crawler). He started with the army belly crawl but now crawls with one knee, leg/foot and two hands
-getting from a laying position to sitting position
-pulling himself up to standing
-standing and cruising along the ottoman (started this a few days before he turned 9-months)
-walking with his walking toy
-first time eating: broccoli, banana, carrot, apple/sauce, mango  pear, kale. He likes his food smooth and without chunks or much texture (he gags with texture/chunk)
-still has no teeth
-first time going to Urgent Care(and over Christmas holiday travel) -first time having pink eye, hurting ears and throat (and his first taste of the pink liquid Amoxicillin,(he liked but what's not to like?!) and Ciprofloxacin(he hated the eye drops)
-frist time to Disneyland
-first Christmas
-first time to California and meeting some aunts, uncles and cousins
-chasing after, and laughing at, Zeus
-playing with the door guard/wall mount
-knocking down towers
-still loves to charm others
-still loves to shake his head when he's tired but now he does it to see if he can get others to copy him
-laughs when we do animal sounds
-loves to smack his lips
-still loves the mirror
-still loves people, faces and trying to charm with his smiles

  1. Such a cutie! It is crazy how fast that first year goes. And yes it may seem silly to start holiday traditions when he is so young, but if you just start them now it is much easier to keep them going!!

  2. Thanks for the great posts. He is so cute and I miss him (and of course you!)
I was surprised by your video that you let Ezra chew on Zeus's pacifier.

    1. Well, I figure him sharing a few of Zeus's toys will help not only build his immunity but also solidify their friendship;) It's not much different than sharing and ice cream with your dog is it?
